FAQ:
Is there a physical "Off" button?
- There is a physical Off button on the top of the display. The display also has a digital Off button.
How does the display get installed?
- Remove the 2, 7mm top dash tray bolts, then lift the OEM tray out, be aware there are 5 clips that will also be retaining the dash tray as you lift up. Release the trim just above the ignition to allow you to pull the the OEM Display/Vent Bezel toward the rear of the car. It is only held in by clips and can be removed by pulling from the vents and working your way around to release the clips. Once released, disconnect the rear connectors attached to the display, terrain, and perimeter alert button if equipped. *If you struggle to get the Vents to clear, put the vehicle in drive to move the column shifter out of the way, don't forget to put it back in park. Next, place the begin to route the USB power cord down through the dash, utilizing the hole nearest to the windshield to begin guiding the cord through. Route the cord towards the passenger side glovebox. Open your glovebox and release the 2 locking tabs to allow it to drop down further. Grab the cord and feed it down to the footwell. You may now guide it towards the center console area easily and connect to a 12v power source of your choosing. Connect to the factory cigarette plug using the included car charger or factory USB outlet. Note: Use Forscan to program the Power Point shutdown timer to be killed when ignition is off and after a door is opened. Turn the vehicle on to send power to the display and test for function. Replace all trim, glovebox, and finally bolt the Display Kit down using the OEM 7mm bolts. Turn the vehicle on to send power to the display. Connect the Display to your phone, the audio setting on the display allows your Bluetooth audio to be sent to the vehicle directly. Your installation is now complete.
